On buying a very big book of photos of the universe

bought the universe today
pored over it and cried
still homesick
didn’t get it back

I think

I have that book. Damn the Hubble telescope! I don't think this poem needs to be expanded so much as it needs to be fleshed out, you're just missing "something," and I can't figure out what. It's like it's almost there.

I get it

Trying to feel AT home in this world can be a lonely thing. Still homesick to me means, a person trying to find the place where they belong and nowhere in the photos of the Universe did a spark of recognition apprear. Very deep for such a short write. I like it Jess. You have alot of you running around in your head. You think that maybe your lost, but your not. Your right here where I can see you. Nice writing! K. Mulroney
