gyascutus

just between
just me and

thee—

and the lovely
soapy summer’s

sea—

I know you have
never seen

a gyascutus
simply handsome
    me

Gyascutus

gyascutus = a huge, imaginary, four-legged beast with legs on one side longer than on the other, enabling it to walk easily on steep hillsides You got the connection!

I get it!!! LOL!

Here I am, being all serious as I read this and I am hanging by a twig on the stupid tree because I did not know what "gyascutus" was. So, being one who wants to at least appear somewhat ed-umacated (my own word) I used a world dictionary. Nothing came up, soooooo, I stare at the word and re-read the piece and presto! I am not so dumb after all! This was a tricky little thinker you stinker! K. Mulroney

A Caution

For the record, when you attempt to find a word I'm using in any of my writings, don't assume by your not locating it that there is no such word. In this case, check your Webster's Unabridged for the word gyascutus. Chuckles

sorry but

an old chef of mine used to use "edumacated" all the time. He used to say the state saying of Texas was "I was edumacated at refrigeration school."
