Heir to Despair

There was a young man in despair,
he was lit’rally tearing his hair.
He said with a groan
"I’m worse than alone,
I’m really not even quite there."

Synchronicity

Have you read "Synchronicity" by Jung? It's an awesome, scary and often difficult read, but it makes "odd" part of the world, cheers p.s. that's pretty close to my version of prayer too except I tend to throw in some shamanic drumming just to stir up the mix! teehee

I don't either

It just happens Joe, that listening to a drumbeat of around 5 beats a second activates visual neurons. In other words "pray" while the drums are on and you get visions. No drugs or snakebites needed, although insanity may ensue. cheers

catharthic

reminds me of a short write I had once, in spirit more than execution. Yours is actually alot better. Good use of barbsdad's style.

this piece should go down in history; it should include itself in a tome of classical poems anthology can't say enough good stuff about this one. thanks. ---Chuck
