Wish

I wish I may
I wish I might
Hold onto forever
Hold on tight

Through our life
And times past
Love might come and go
But you are the last

Hearts merged as one
Soul’s entertwined
I am yours and
You are mine

Over the miles
Carried on wind
There is the sound
Of your tears again

Your soft tender voice
I hear in my head
Your warm loving body
I feel in my bed

Going through the motions
Our life together we separate
All the while suffering and
Feeling our hearts ache

To just grow wings
And learn to fly
To say to one and all
Go to hell and goodbye

All went wrong
Can’t make it right
I wish I may
I wish I might

Arrogance is a diease

Arrogance is a diease, some of my poems that mean the most to me are very simple, they are a start, like a brain storm, I almost inevitably write another more detailed / descriptive one later about the same thing, I give you props just for sharing even if it is a little cookie cutter.
