The Untended Garden
Unfettered
The weeds grew tall
Neath the garden wall
Stones once carefully grouted,
Now cracked
And green with moss,
The old man gone now
Unable to care.
Yet she notices these things,
Of his passing
And sheds
A silver tear…….
