Yes, Niemoller

Was it first they came for the Jews, I thought it was the trade unionists. When I lived in Boston that poem was at the Holocaust memorial and I always loved it.

Galumph

galumph "to prance about in a self-satisfied manner," nothing like www.dictionary.com to help improve and expand your vocabulary. This made me think of the days where I can just be me and be happy being me. Kinda relaxing, thinking of the water, sand, soft sunlight, and uber contentment.

Thanks for the spelling lesson

much appreciated Princess! I am making a note of "galumph" I thought the haiku was rather odd the way the second and third line ran into each other. But then I really don't know alot about haiku's or spelling. Thanks again, Mark

Not a bad attempt, but I

Not a bad attempt, but I think that haikus' work better when there is less subjectivity present.
