Love and Friendship

As I stand in the sunrise
And feel the wind blow
I think of all the things
I want you to know
I think of you always
When you are away
Everytime that you go
I almost beg you to stay
A part of my heart
You will always be
How can I express
What you mean to me
Into your eyes
I could forever stare
Eternity could pass
I wouldn’t care
A sweet gentle kiss
And passion ignites
No other experience
Has felt so right
You, mon amour, are the one
I want holding me all night
Your warm embrace, so loving
Protecting and tight
What ever may go
What ever may come
Never fear my sweet
You are protected by love
Love and Friendship
Pure and true
Forever and a tomorrow

This was pretty,(not to appear patronizing) but it was simple and very lyrical. The flow, was just pretty. I loved the last four lines because it refrected from your rhyming scheme and then went back. Thanks for the read

I really enjoyed your poem,

I really enjoyed your poem, honest and generous. Generous is a word I seldom use in feedback because so many poets are so full of themselves. A giving poem, I appreciate that. A small suggestion, breaking it into stanzas might give the reader more of a chance to take in all the images cheers Weirdelf

Stanzas

If by stanzas, you mean where there is spacing between the lines, then I had that done when I wrote it, but I guess I didn't do the html right, because when it posted, my spacing was gone. If that isn't what you mean, let me know. I really know nothing about poetry, I just write. I have some poems I wrote about my suicide attempt, but I am not sure if this is the place for them....Thank you very much for the help.
