WET FEET

WET FEET
Sk

My city dogs must take their walks
Thru treacherous terrain
Not thru mud nor tangled stalks,
But more dangerous domain
Trails of trash and rubbish routes
Of metal, plastic, glass
Bio-hazards underfoot
Used needles & rubbers we pass.
They don’t seem to notice, tho
The danger at each turn
Noses down, they sniff along
Of trespassers they must learn.
I weave and dodge, tipy-toed
To keep up in fear
But grass that’s wet, you can bet
                      They will sure steer clear!

LMAO or maybe just LOL

Not only was I laughing out the loud the second time, I could just imagine someone i flip flop stepping over crack needles and walking through 3 inches of space thats not littered with garabage or condoms. Very visual and beautifully writen. The rhyme scheme was so simple, Im usually not a fan but it worked for this piece. It didn't seem elementary, maybe it was because of the content what went along but kudos for you aways. You kept me entertain and very relatable. Thanks for the Read

welcome back, fox!

don't know how I missed this one before, but glad you put it back on the stream. I like your sense of whimsy and your meter here. Your dog sure has alot to look out for! I think I'd rather be oblivious, like the animal, than to think of all the disgusting and dirty things we have to avoid. Thanks for this read. Mark W. Galatians 5:22-23 "22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against these, there is no law!" My favorite verse(s) in the Bible
