Life

A couple of childish games
A couple of laughs
A couple of tears
A couple of stupid mistakes
A couple of outgrown fears
A couple of rebellious and daring times
A couple of disappointments and lessons learnt
A couple of fine lines and crows’ feet on your face
A couple of worries and heartbreaks
A couple of inches to the waist
A couple of loyal friends and fun memories
A couple of greying hairs and senior moments
Death then dust.

About your poem

Hey Shaun, Life is a great title for this - Couple is a great word here as for me it serves as a duo (one of your masteries) as without couples there would be no life. It's a great theme with places to go (meaning very rich with so many places one could "take off from". You tie it up wonderfully with your first and last lines (seems you have mastered that as well). Thanks for the reading !
