Here I Am,Send Me

Here I am send me

I'm willing to blow myself up and all those infidels to smithereens

What for?

To go to paradise of course.

Where's your leader?

Off hiding in some cave laughing hysterically.

So where are you now?

I'm dead and rotting.

Here I am,send me.

I done kiss my mama goodbye

I'm gone fight war for Uncle Sam

What for?

I dunno, I think is to stop terrorism and to make my homeland and my mama proud

Where's your leader?

He's on TV mispronouncing and saying words that don't exist and planning another war.

So where are you now?

Back home,in a bar getting disability checks 'cause my leg and arm is missin'

After I done tell my story, I asked the bartender for a drink.

He said sorry son but you gotta be twenty-one.

Well, there you have it folks, join us again next time on, "War, What Is It Good For? Absolutely Nothing."

Hey Shaun ..

Groovin - would just like to comment on the poetry as joe has it covered well, I think war has been good for something ever since the fight over a few table scraps. Maybe we should send some barley and hops make a party instead huh?
