Poet's Wish
Poet’s Wish
Things that are recorded on these pages,
I wish to share throughout the ages.
My thoughts, experiences, and feelings,
or perhaps a problem from which I am dealing.
Interpret them through my perception,
knowing it is the truth with is no exception.
My thoughts I wish to pass through time.
I send my message with a rhyme.
Whether it is funny, insightful, or sad,
these are my life experiences, the good and bad.
Enjoy them as you read,
I hope my words have planted a seed.
Read them and grow,
from the things I want you to know.

Thank you, I am glad you
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed the poems I posted. I do enjoy feedback and thank you for it, but I am not sure what you meant by commas in the last line.
Read them and grow,
from the things I want you to know.
Thanks again for the feedback, your friend, Joe Theriot

Very Nice
Very nicely written.. However also brave.. I have written poetry since I was 13.. Have shared a few on here though now in a while.. I am scared to put alot of my poetry out there.. I have been told I need to becasue it has a story to tell and could help someone.. And as strange as that may sound.. I am afraid of that. Becasue for someone to be helped by it means they have been thru the same things.. And nobody should go thru thru them..

Thank you, why do you say
Thank you, why do you say brave? I think if you could help someone with your writing you should, that's the reason I find to be the most rewarding. I enjoy giving my readers what they want and need to read sometimes to know they are not the only person to experience such a thing and know they to will make it through and if I can give a few encouraging words to help another I feel as I have done my job as a caring human being and as a writer.
{And as strange as that may sound.. I am afraid of that. Because for someone to be helped by it means they have been thru the same things.. And nobody should go thru thru them..}
If someone may be helped by your writing they already have lived through the experience and perhaps need the comfort in knowing yours and how you coped with your issues.
Just my opinion, just trying to help, Joe Theriot
