Against All Odds
Lend me your hearts and ears As I tell you about a man that faced his fears Accustomed to the popular sound of negativity He set forth to expand on his very own creativity Used to the excuses and bitter taste of rejection It was time to voice his long awaited objection As imagined many told him to change his mind Little did they know that he was one of a kind Determination and passion proudly became one They still told him that the chances were slim to none For some years the facts were continually debated me Never did he alter the dreams that he previously stated Three years later and he still puts his passion to the test Some are shocked and others say he did his very best With pride and joy he exposes his dream every single day No need to listen to what his critics thought but couldn’t say This story of will, pride and a large amount of determination Should be remembered when you crave some motivation This story of mine has most of you asking how this can be That young man that made it possible, was surprisingly me
