Rich men poor men look at your lives
I can tell you it’s no surprise
That where you’ve gone and where you’ve been
Is not in the middle of the lion’s den
For you have set yourselves apart
Into the midst of the lion’s heart
Where there is gold that’s much more pure
Than any rich man can secure

Old retired mailman. Walked a few miles
in my 26 years, about 75-76,000. Been writing poetry since I was 10 years old. Retired at 51 in 2009. I keep busy with hobbies, gardening, honey-dos, playing Fallout 76 and lots of other of life's little enjoyments.
