Every star

Every star in the sky that catches my eye fails to compare whenever you happen by/don't know if it's the waving hips,pouty lips or just your very essence and being/but I'm surely transfixed and mesmerized by whatever I'm seeing/I ache to hold you so I can get through the night/waking up in love instead of fright/so let's see if love has truly found its home/let it fix our hearts that have previously fell like rome

Life never ending wishes

I yearn for love.
I search for love.
I want love.
I need love.
But it seems hard to find.
Because I feel like I don’t deserve it.
Flaws and scars from an undesirable childhood
Still lingers within me,
But they are not yours to have.
Despite all of this, you don’t care,
And these flaws and scars do not make you love me any less.
But I can’t help feeling sad.
I wish my spirit could be at ease and find the love I long for,
A love that will make me feel whole again.

The Recluse Of An Imbalanced Mind

A recurrent recluse of an imbalanced mind ,
A boundless buoy branded astray
with its parched pores of broken ages
bleeding behind
a steadfast regiment of forgone
reveries readily
riddled in whitened benignity .
Its evergoing essence
of a silent voice
pleading to the shining shore
of an spotless sun,
for a repressed reprieve
away from the salted senility
of its benighted
destiny of faded skies.

early again

He steps in before the light sorts itself,
carrying that slight forward set
of someone who entered the world
before the hour was ready for him.

Hey, Monday—you’re early again.

As if timing has always found us this way.

He looks at me with that same
unspoken recognition,
as if he notices the sideways way
I once arrived ahead of my own date,

how both of us were brought in
before the room was prepared
for whatever might follow,
standing in the same unfinished hour.

Ahead and Swaggering

There's a sign on the roadside,

big and green,

and it says go faster, faster,

this thing on up ahead is escaping you,

Fleeing like a rogue or a fugitive.

I've got a dead map in the glove compartment,

I've got an old pocket watch that's a little mad in all the wrong ways.

Be certain to coax the engine, be sure to catch the off ramp in a sugar hold.

The money and water are gone.

And we've got choices to make.

Pleasant Surprise

It's a pleasant surprise when life guides you towards the right direction.

Through inspection, I have been looking for a course correction, but I have found something worth everything.

Change comes in waves.

Sometimes, certain things have to move so you can find your place.

No longer do I feel wasted, cascaded

Feeling like I'm in more of a flow state

Thank you, universe

Finally, I can say, I am wide awake.

A solid reminder

When the scary feelings dissipate, I’m crowded by an allowance to decrease. I’m challenged by my thoughts. Although, I’m resisting a fleeting moment. I try to conceal, although I am revealed.

I’m dreaming of a song, wondering where I belong, trusting in God, away from all the fog. Don’t realize an anchor is seeping, I’m all together creeping, around my mind. It hurts in time.

The Endless Search

I search for you
In the songs you hummed.
I look for you
In the silly jokes I hear.
I long for you
To call my name once more.

You left me with
Ifs, could haves and should haves;

I smile and laugh merrily
Holding on to my tears
To cry loudly in the silence of nights.

Do you see me, do you hear me??

Memories keep me sane
Keep me afloat pushing me forwards
To go the distance still left for me
To be with you forever.....

A wraith

Walking

And so spare,

Alzheimer’s (from the outside looking in)

I remember yesterday but don't remember now,
I remember the day we met and when we took that vow
Close moments I don't recall they all fade into one,
Future dreams I can't collect, in my mind there is none,
I remember yesterday but now it's but a dream,
I look okay to most of you but I'm not what I seem,
I remember yesterday but now is not so clear,
Outside I'm always happy inside I'm shedding tears..
