Icy Road To Glory...

As he faced the frozen-land
he shivered in his shoes
Then he went forth, with icy hands
his toes were turning blue

Lost in the snow, turned back around
bearings wiped away
He didn't know, how to be found
he didn't know to stay

Snow-blind, frozen lips and chin
He stumbled on the lake
Some kind of sense , that he tuned in
he knew his life at stake!

Now he travels straight and true
toward salvation, and a fire
Straight ahead was all he knew
to the Frost King's funeral pyre

wither by corpus incentives

darting is much needed urinating
earth's wings sheds rustling leaves awaiting
choirs answering like sticks
cinnamon decapitated
flay over us
plaintive depths in tumor
the she-creature moved me
until like confetti
i drop pike irritability
summer of berth
distant shores from birth

forums herald vulnerability

a journey , the absolute inter-phase
begins meditation congeal dilute

The Abandoned

Forever walking,
With bloody feet.
Petaracy spreading in the streets.
Faith in humanity dwindling

A life of gratuity
Angels with severed wings.
Deliver us from perdition
We, the Abandoned

Styrofoam souls,
And factitious faces,
They thwart us
Blocked from God's eye

Hollywood cannibals
With festering personalities,
Taken with falsities
Going through doldrum lives

Lament out loud,
And scream your sorrows.
Rip off your wings.
We are the Angels now

Friends Forever

In the whisper of a gentle wind
I could hear your laughter,
the sweet echoes of old memories

As I stood by your grave, old friend
I touched your tombstone
and traced a finger over your name

In my heart, sadness still linger
but it will consume me never
as I live to face the future

But I will never forget you,
for we shared a bond together.
You and me, friends forever

A tear trickled down my cheek
I let it flow freely,
giving myself a moment to grieve

Old Cards and Memories

In reading through a stack of old birthday, anniversary and
other greeting cards sent and received,
the sender vividly remembered in the collective verse.
In the underscored words of each line she whispers
them in my ear again as she had once whispered them.
Their reading brings a smile and sometimes a tear.
Read through several times they’re gathered up and
tucked away once more.
There stored until her words begin to
fade from memory again.

As It Is Written

Where one’s mind goes,
the Man will always follow.
Are you paying attention
to what may be tomorrow?

Faith always agrees with God
and the messages of His Word.
Take random thoughts captive.
Is it Him, that you’ve heard?

Be freed from mental bondages;
improve your thinking today.
Read the Biblical instructions
and get a new life underway.

Meditate on the Scriptures.
Reduce your inner turmoil;
Pray for the presence of God
and be covered with holy oil.

The Wind (Stan's WS)

It travels across the seas,
the mountains and the trees,
passing through villages
and great modern cities

Its gentle touch
is like a lover's caress,
soothing and comforting
a troubled soul laid to rest

It makes me grateful
on a hot, summer's day,
when the heat is intense,
making me sweat all day

When it is erratic and violent
it's a force to be feared
as it devastated the cities,
inflicting a million hurts

We Are As Gods

I am a Trans-Human
I am the child of Homo Sapiens

My thoughts
once derided
unproven
despised
now flow in
our children's DNA

We are now as
Gods
So we act
like them

No disease
rotting flesh
No poverty
corrupting morals
No rich
No c u l t u r e
No Point

I am foreshadowed
Born of woman?
That will soon cease
your voice silenced

Are you 'human'?
Who cares...

Goodbye/Lucky by Ron Woodruff

Goodbye/Lucky by RW

I have to find the barrier, the drop,

the scarier stop

The rest of the 80-90 empirical proof

If I'm a goof I'm glad to be so

loud and free

though I often whisper

Open scars and mean guitars

my family name will not last

The past, the apathetic Czars

the prototype, the blast

I am quite insane

looking through cellophane

but despite have had a transcendent life

as fun as spontaneous writes rife

with honesty, sometimes ugly

somber or unleasant

In The Western Meadows (the right amount of imagery WS)

In the western meadows I lost my heart
while strolling 'round with a little sparrow
then never after found my way out.

On the pastoral lands I rolled about
and walked along where brooks would furrow.
In the western meadows I lost my heart.

I trod the rocky routes that wore the mount
and walked when raging winds went slow,
then never after found my way out.

I followed the waterfalls, to hear a shout
that prayed one day to stop the falling-show.
In the western meadows I lost my heart.
