A modern parody

A Modern Parody

Row on row of crosses
standing stark against the sky
where thieves and fools and even Saviors
dangle til they die

Not for punishment or shame
nor to appease the masses
but only to amuse a bunch
of silly Roman asses

Color of a Poem

A creative thought
crimson, blue, dark or white in
ethereal shades

Cathartic

When I woke up this morning
I had the choice
of feeling like I was in my mother's womb
or facing the cold, unforgiving world.

Most days,
I feel sick,
weak,
and angry.

I'm tired of being angry at the world
for my sins.
I'm tired of feeling
like somebody else.

Lately,
I've had these little pockets of peace;
10 or 15 minutes sometimes
when the world feels right,
and I feel like myself again.

Street Needles....

Street Needles…

Red lit faces as they smoke,
one pace forward to intimidate.
They laugh, I’m the butt of a joke,
I was here by choice not fate.

Those were dealers that was the lair,
this was their area, ha their superstore.
Sellers of allsorts mostly despair,
passing death from a hole in a door

I visit victims tracked in harm,
my dilemma, how can I judge.
Streets dark devoid of charm,
giant millstones never budge.

The Suicide Note of A 16 Year Old Girl

Last Words
When I think about the world
I think of sadness, darkness
A world you can't shut out
A world corrupted
Murderers killing
Thieves stealing
Pedophiles taking youth before it began
Waking up makes my skin crawl
It's painful to smile
I know you don't understand
You don't see what I see
Hear what I hear
Feel the way I feel
You haven't fallen yet
I hope you never do
I have fallen
I have see true Evil
I hit the rocks at the bottom

blindness overcomes darkness here 'tis ignorance

LIFE IS A BLIND MANS SEARCH AND LOVE.... TO KNOW MORE
Love is an endless
blind man’s journey
many seek it on the internet
as those guys make money

you lap off some from your lap’s top
some honey
some guys love only to be funny

as on laps top they can suck
yet pay no money

I have found more than a dozen sonny
I show them theirs only

go find in your jungles and roads
maybe lakes and dive for a fish
perhaps you may be able
to get your wanted loving bed dish

Good Friday?

I wonder if that morning
was dreary and overcast
like today.

And I try not to make things,
see things,
focus on things
as if they relate to my situation.
I'm not sure they could.

Right now,
everything leads me 'round back again
to the same fights and fears,
and the same lies lies lies.
I question myself,
I question every little thing.

What I wouldn't give
for a bit of peace;
for you,
for our son and our daughter,
and the shattered life I had to destroy.

Rain, and she was

I'd shout it from on high,
Oh, how I miss her
the affection she let upon me
Summer's warm embrace
so random
yet so precise
caressing my hair
my face
my skin
She threw candles into the clouds
to light our table for two
whispered through the leaves
into my ear
a song
only I could hear
