ALAFFIA EVERYDAY COCONUT SHAMPOO

Yours truly (me)
just an ordinary primate from the human zoo,
who while ambling along
the boulevard of broken dreams on a Green Day
(just me and my shadow)
I experienced unexpected lionizing flattery
courtesy Pink Floyd,
he went ape and shouted "hey you"
out there in the cold
getting lonely, getting old
but honest to dog,
I took the road less traveled
unexpectedly encountering
fire breathing creatures
imagine dragons puffing
at these lovely bones
that constitute a generic guy,

The Taoist

“Where do people go when they’re gone?”, asked Piglet.

“I think they prefer to live in here.”, Pooh pointed to his heart.

“Important to have a big one so they have plenty of room.”, offered Piglet.

“Absolutely!”, Pooh replied.

Rip Off!

Computer techs
on the internet.
Taking your dime
way out of line!

Don't call for help
squander your wealth.
Taking your money
they just think it's funny.

I've got a solution
for their sort of pollution.
Call up a freind
on whom you depend.

Put them to the test
reroute their request.
Fix it alone
on youtube you know.

Their scheme
is outrageous.
Thir sickness
contageous.

Truth is

As my smile led to your demise,
Your eyes blinded by beautiful lies,
A kiss to silence your cries,
Your embrace was warm,
My heart remained cold,
You were peace ,
My soul was a gruesome storm,
You were bold ,
But I was never sold .

When it rains

It drops and roll
Like beads from a maiden's waist
Leaves dancing to the roofs beat
Young petals peeping through the soil face
Smile on every thirsty soul
Children's singing to its wet Melody
But not to all does it share it limited smile
What if accompanied by it's violent friend
Falling houses and trees
This kind of drops we dread
Separating people from their properties
But still we call it rain
Bringer of gain and vain

THE PHANTOM'S TALE.

"Oh! woe is me" the phantom wailed
As through ghostly halls his head he trailed:
"Oh! woe, Oh! woe, thrice woe again,
Eternally walking these halls of pain.
These walls wherein I met my doom
Hacked down in prime as flower in bloom.
You ask what crime deserves such fate
I'll tell a tale sad to relate.

Forbidden Love

She told me she'd love me till the end of time,
I never knew it'd be in a haste to take what's mine.
Did it really have to end the way it did?
Meeting you was the most beautifully
inconvenient mistake I've ever made,
I enjoyed all the memories made.

Just us, beyond.

In any moment, our love would ignite, Consciousness merging, hearts beating as one.
You'd be my solace, my guiding light, the only face I'd see in crowded night.
My thoughts would revolve around you alone,
Possessiveness starring, my love grown.
Why couldn't it be just us, I'd implore.
Longing to be the only one you adore,
Would you stay with me, promise me the world?
Save me from the darkness, be my unfurled.
You're the sole owner of my heart's beats,

Stay!

STAY
Stay with me
Get my heart pumping
Tell me I'm enough and
Embrace me

Come back
Undo my death
Restore my breath
And make me whole again

Unchain me
Destroy these shackles
Free me from this torture
My dashing anti-hero

Be mine
Sweep me off my feet
Be my knight in shining
armour
Make me swoon

Resurrect me
Bring me to life with
Your electric touch
Be my Frankenstein
I'll be your monster

Oceans of Love

Love is a weapon
Plundering borders
Without passport
Destroying your sanity

Love is a fig
An inverted flower
Invaded by the wasp
Smelling the aroma

Love is a verb
A four letter word
When you’re tongue-tied
To riposte

Love is a long bow
And slowly pulling
Flying the distance
Thinking in centuries

Love is a storm
Coming like a hurricane
Counter clockwise
Spiralling into one

Love is a phoenix
As Rumi says
That no birdcage
Can incarcerate
