A Killer Halloween...

Darkness lies upon the land
like a chill and clammy hand
No breath does stir, nor fill a breast
Icy cold grips your chest

Eyes strain to see, familiar sights
here on this eve, this hallowed night
Whispers of my victims' voices
ask me why; they were my choices

You were deserving, I holler out
The graven-stones repeat the shout
Now the lonely windy sigh
makes me scream in reply

You did all those nasty deeds
and on your body I did feed
You are now and here immortal
I say to them and I chortle

In Battles Of Our Own

In Battles Of Our Own

Written by: Mario Vitale
In battles of our own

A man will live to advance home
Through a variation in a dream
In faulty idol flowing stream
An ellapsed tongue had tainted my inner vision

In battles of our own,

Shattered silence through scattered temperaments choose
Within it's vested silence in scourge of desire
It comes down to the pivotal wire
We then choose to socially internalize

Yet when will we ever live to realize

Masculinity

The feeling of powerlessness
turns good men cruel
over compensating cowardice
with physical strength,
they never had
beware of those similar
or is saying so too linear
for those with love that turned foul?

Nobody's Child (reworked)

Nobody's Child

Doll-baby

tumbling

of hands of the master

see how she falls with

porcelain

fractures

spidery-web

cracks

all through

the plaster

painted smile

on lips alabaster

broken doll-baby

tumbling faster

spiraling out of control

towards certain disaster

cake

in the blue light
on the late bus
a city swirls
past the growl
of an engine
beneath our feet
blue trickle dusk
pressed beneath
the roil of clouds
grey as tusk
In dreams she
whispers
"trust us"
I snarl wakened
behind the curtains
blood thick color
in the mist
a passenger prop
howls readying to
jump
she roars off
the wailing
stops

candle tears
on pure icing
in the flames
the joy curls
brilliant eyes
encircle

Summit

I climbed a mountain once:
The views at the top made it worth it.
I was above a shroud of vapours,
That looked less so like cotton from above.

My slightly constricted lungs may have contributed:
to the dizzying effect of such beauty,
And the powder coated rocks mitigated my collapsed knees,
as the corners of my chapped lips rose triumphantly.
