beryl emerald (Imagery workshop)

The Summer sun's sheen,
Spring's tree leaves, a green so bold,
Winter's icicles, smooth and cold,
The decoration of Fall's stunning Halloween

Beryl emerald (Imagery workshop)

Extensive dreams of shine and hopes of stunning shimmer,
frozen antifreeze immersed in earth is still waiting to glimmer.

To a bone deep stone.

I should have been a bone cold stone,
long interred under loam

But hard and smooth, was turfed by toe
which flinched from flint, then chose

Preferring to secrete me in warmer pocket,
as hard forged ingot found

Then bound to the neck, deep in locket,
as is the want, to be worn around.

A better fate is this, than being long
in bone interred, under lost ground

Ship Killer

Dark and hulking,
patient just beneath the sparkling water,
a weight of eons rearing up from darker depths,
crowned with garnet,
mountain-solid underneath
swaying forests of green-brown kelp
and irresistible high tide.

Scars (indirect imagery)

Red furrows plowed into the pale clay
Grow into mounds of silver stones.

The Hunk

A gentleman is just a wimp,
and character is boring;
while sensitivity is limp,
as is the poet’s poring.

Give me a man who loves himself,
and his designer outfits;
who will dissipate my wealth,
on ineffectual gadgets.

A man determined to be free,
who treats me like a whore;
clearly does not care for me,
and I’ll come back for more.

Imagery Stanza

Centuries worn into bleak landscape
ancient markings roughly hewn,
the cutting stone
still holds a deathly charm.

you said

you said;
don't fall in love
with me.
but for that
it is too late
for i have
fallen
down
down
down
into the deep
ocean of your
blue eyes.
and how your
smile ignites
the fire at
the pit of
my stomach.
giving me
warmth
to stay alive.

I wanted you to say I want you too

I want you to say
I wanted you too

Your words are astounding
fully of glory
women create
not only for themselves
but for others also
a sad story
they just try
to make life gory

just because someone may have
destroyed their youth
now towards others
they'd love to remain uncouth

Sad is the moment
when some one
who you love betrays
either knowingly or accidentally

I want you to say
I forgive you
instead of
may you equally suffer too
