Time Machine [Limited Edition]

yesterday is done, dusted, asleep,
today is ticking away at a fast pace, slow for some
tomorrow an unbroken egg, holds awe of the unborn, may be stillborn

yesterday sows seeds for tomorrow
today, a time to harvest deeds of yesterday
tomorrow arrives with a promise, to pollinate or pollute

hold yesterday in gratitude
be thankful for today
if tomorrow comes, feel blessed

wind, unwind, set, reset, calibrate the time machine
brand it "MINE"
it's a limited edition
gifted by mother to her child

A Major's Memoirs ( Military Memories' contest )

With long-life fear blossoms stay fresh
of shirts once soaked in blood and flesh.
As lavish bombs would lash the ear,
blossoms stay fresh with long-life fear.

In search for peace, pellets blast the air
men fight fiends, women fight the scare,
but how could the stars stay in ease,
when pellets blast in search for peace!

The crimson moon hung 'cross the sky
then farewell soon with no goodbye,
to show again, it won't be soon,
It passed away -that crimson moon.

Using Gravity To Climb

The thing we need
to know
about highs
and lows

is the law of gravity.

Although tv
or an active
imagination
try to convince us

that
spiders
or sharks
or serial killers
are what's gonna kill us,

the statistics say
it's much more likely
to be a big
fall.

Considering
the earth's terrain
and our precarious
emotional landscapes,

we shouldn't
be surprised
at the dangers
of not knowing
what lies ahead of us.

Love Pains

The cool midnight air drifts in through the window,
As I wake to soundless dark.
Beside no one,
With no one,
Alone in the night.
Yet my heart races,
And sweat blooms on my brow.
With him in my heart and mind,
All I can think of is....
Him.

Him who in phantom form haunts my sleep.
Him who causes my body to react,
With loss of words,
Loss of appetite,
Almost loss of sanity.

Morse Code

It annoyed me when she said, don't speak, you'll ruin it.
But maybe sometimes it's better to speak in silence.
Maybe our souls tell each other secrets our mouths do not know,
Maybe our eyes unveil mysteries that our minds can’t decipher.
Maybe letters and words and sounds aren’t enough to say what needs to be said.
Maybe what needs to be said, is exactly what shouldn’t be said at all.
Or maybe what is said is not what is felt.
Maybe that’s what she meant.

Paronoia

Before I walk in the bathroom I check the shower
All I see are bees when you can see the flower,
And I can't bare to walk outside
When a murderer could walk by.
And I just want to trust, but everyone lies
And everyone has a bad side.
I don't like to look in the mirror,
I'm afraid ill see what's real,
I don't take food from strangers, it will bring your grave near
I don't got much money but my meds are a deal.
Just remember to tell yourself that "you are fine

A Lightness

Why does my head feel such lightness,
so softly my feet tread the ground?
She made no pledge, just a whisper
as her eyes dared to lock on mine.

Long had I yearned for some sign.
to ease my forlorn heart from fear,
of beating pain and aching need
for love I thought was never near.

Now laughter shines my happy eyes;
in freedom's ease I feel so light.
my step is soft; my head is clear,
I feel her essence moving near

Frenzy

the sky inverts into a blue lagoon
as we elope in zero gravity
levitating in a bubble all our own
only madness can create
steering it with our bodies squirming
limbs thrashing, passions soaring

suddenly as the bubble bursts
we dive in the blue lagoon with a big splash
with stars in your eyes
glowing in the aftermath
of our madness and buoyant frenzy
snowballing into ecstasy

A crack in the shell

In the shell of my refine taste
polished by years
and yet covered with barnacles
my silky unsegmented self
lays comfortably.

I am well-nourished in my habitat,
read William Carlos Williams
and listen to Bach.
But what if the shell cracks?

Red wheelbarrow glazed by rain
neatly parked near white chickens
will roll away.

The fate of Love

My heart sucks in waters of love,
No one knew i was shipwrecked
Before the wreckage
I was pretty piled up with pure conscience.

Thanks to this love!
