Early In The Morning

Across the cling to do
paralyzed beneath their eyes of sullen but sudden blue
eyes that berat with sulphur dazzled through its claim
we encounter a whole host to which would set free
my shadows up on screen ,

my dwarf sudden move
captivated by a smile
chop threough corn followerd down by ther wirer
a whole host of pilgrims laid waste nore sudden plum
closer you gert to ther heart

The Sea

The sea
It is another world
From lying on a sandy beach
To far horizons out of reach
Then fades and falls
Like many men
That leave and then return again

From surface
Neither smooth nor still
Betraying depths imaginable
From coast to curving coastal line
Encasing space and light and time

She gives me hope
And sadness too
With powers old
Yet strong and new
Restores in me
My former self
Her twinkling diamonds
And heaving stealth

Lunch Box

the red light of sin illuminated her ankles
she, a thousand frisky demons
comfort me
as i yield blood eyes
for switch blade kisses
that push through retinas glass aperture

dark girl with a penchant for hideous pleasures
sex crimes like blatting pistons
her mothers womb twisted with regret
as i live in her hell bender stare
fingering talons that pierce bloody
like diaphanous ribbons

Birds-eye View

Buoyantly above the intersection
A hawk reviews our daily commute
Barely moving a feather.

We are surely a strange type of insect,
Giant beetles with metallic colors
Crawling orderly in a crisscross below.

Staring at the signal light to unleash us,
The shadow of his great wing span
Splashes across our windshields like a stain,

As if to tap us on the shoulder, taunting us,
To the effortless solitary spirals
Of his indifferent freedom.

You Touched My Heart

You have great independence of mind and thought you touched my heart when you said Yes and then you moved on to a newer forest to find newer seeds. Let men not feel only they can breed with their seed The forests are widespread with all kinds apples pines oranges and peaches all have their own delicacies. Think not that you are alone the seed of vine which can be turned to red wine.

In gratitude to breath

Rosemary, Silver birch, Gum
Blue sky smeared with cloud whisp
Gentle breeze & summer bright sun
Quiet but for sweet bird song, insect choir, droning flightpath
I have my coffee, my hounds, my swing chair on the balcony
My breath… mindfully indulged, too often neglected &…
held
My breath, with which I laboured to press baby from womb.
My breath, held in desperation, fear, angst
My breath, freed in ribbons through chords to weave sweetest harmony
My breath, formed into cradling words of deepest love & longing

Feathering Steel,

Feathering Steel…

Feathers no match against our steel,
tiny bones get crushed or broken.
Your chirps drowned out by tyre squeal,
barely a care shown, or word gets spoken.

We invade your space on iron wing,
chase you off our runway or routes,
We pay little notice while you sing,
referring to it sweetly when it suites.

Your grace is noted even admired,
Jealous eyes watch from below.
Ungrateful fools that you inspired,
Man’s grand ego continued to grow.

TWO OLD SWINGERS

As Robert rode down his birch trees
far in his northern Yankee land
climbing, then bending them with ease
their stance no longer straight and bland

Upon a time and place so far away
I have done so, too, with pine saplings
on a hot and sunny summer day
beneath shade enhanced by sol's dapplings

Sometimes not riding them to ground
just far enough to reach another
thus propelling self all around
from one pine to its nearest brother

LOVELY CEMENTED FORESTS

Forests of cement

Cement and Forest
