My son
I Will Find You (revised version)
I will find you
halfway.
You will hold the hand of a woman
I know only by feeling.
Life will begin there—
and the bars will come undone.
My hands open
as if they were never closed.
My arms become
the safest place left on earth.
My son—
welcome
to the smallest house in the world
