A Dance of Two Swans
Water ripples and flows.
Wind stirs and lulls.
Once a scruffy cygnet,
Now a shimmering swan.
Elegant, pearly feathers,
Drifting through the water.
Bright, colorful dances,
But only one moves on.
Poised with radiance and grace,
Yet heartbreak still latches on.
Those soft feathers yearn,
To once again feel,
The cold water rippling,
And the favonian breeze settling.
Never to happen again,
A dance of two swans.
