My Heart Still Loves You
(Chorus)
I know it's been awhile since we spoke
but here lately i've been thinking alot about you
and how we used to be so close i don't know what it is but my heart can't seem to forget you
I think about the times we shared and everything that we went through back then
we had our ups and downs but somehow we always manged to pull through
I miss those late-night conversations that we always had
your words still ringing in my head
No other guy seems to understand me the way you did
I'm not sure if that's some kind of sign or if it's my heart trying to tell me something here
All i know it's time that i was honest with myself
I was happiest with you
And just in case you're wondering i never stopped loving you
I kept all of our photos from before hoping you'll come back

It just doesn't feel right seeing myself without you
you were my everything
I wanted a future with you
I loved you unconditionally
Babe why can't you see... I still do
I can't keep my feelings hidden inside any longer
after all this time my heart still loves you
(verse) I stay awake until 3 am I can't seem to fall asleep
thinking of everything that we both said and eveything that's happened
I don't want to regret not giving this another chance
What if you could be the one for me
I guess we just need to take baby steps to make things right again
All i want is to make you happy once again
I know we can get there... I have faith that we can...
I'm willing to do whatever it takes babe just take my hand
I've never cheated on you no the thought never once crossed my mind
We seemed to have had a real strong bond
I felt safe and secure with you
What we had was special to me and i didn't want to mess that up
I didn't want to throw everything we had away
you meant alot to me
I loved the way you loved me... I miss what we had...
I miss hearing your voice... I miss your laugh...
I miss everything we used to be and i want all that back
After all this time and everything we've been through
I still want you
It's not that i don't want to give us another try
I was just scared to give you my heart once again
I needed to know first hand that you're not going to leave again
I didin't want to lose you all over again

we made it work before

I wanted to be where you are
Our hearts collide side by side
You were such a big part of my life
I never told you this but you've always held my heart
I wanted to have crazy adventures with you, relax and just have fun
But most of all, all i really wanted to do is turn the page, start fresh and start a new chapter with you
I could had seen a future with you
I'm not telling you this to scare you off
I'm just telling you how i feel
I'm letting you know what's in my heart
what i feel for you is real
I wanted you to be the one who stood by my side through thick and thin
like you did back then
I wanted you to make my heart feel whole again
like you always did
We have alot of history between us and that's something i just can't forget just like that
but in the end i have to do what's best for me
it all comes down to this I have to keep in mind that you did me wrong
i have to admit though and be honest with myself
in some ways - my heart still loves you
but not in love with you anymore
