washed away
I saw her in my dreams
as she slipped below the water
nobody ever noticed
that she was someone's daughter
She looked just like a cat
As she slinked into the deep
She sank with every moment
that somebody couldn't keep
It caused a ripple to the still
just like a fallen tree
"I came to heal the sick,
why would I heal the well"
But she knows as she slipped away
that time will never tell

"we do requires motive. Even art! Sometimes, we scare ourselves; we get close to making a statement [with metaphor] and then back off, hoping that no one sees the truth. That's ok, we all deserve our secrets. ~ Geezer. ." -

""I came to heal the sick, why would I heal the well" I was ruminating about this line. It reminds me of Christ's state in new tastament. Lol! Are you the Messiah here?" -

"an Agnostic, I am sure that there is something that binds all life and things in the universe, but not sure of the need to worship it. However, you certainly give pause to the philosophically inclined. I feel the wonder…" -

About Me
Even fools are considered wise with their mouths shut.
Language is meant to be tied to the heart; but over the years, each diluted version has become only relative to memory. Every word....ex, hurt, hope... is tied to personal experience for the understanding of its definition rather than foundational law. So I have used poetry as a tool to understand my own thoughts through which the language today has no avenue. A return to a language of the heart.
I am a 37 year old woman that has allowed every temptation of the flesh to rule her mind, but poetry rules my heart.
