Life changing diaries
Sunday morning,the Fourteenth
I’m cleaning my room
I find my sister’s diary
Under my bed, where I clearly tell it’s missing.
Though it was confidential, I opened up
But there was a missing page
And another page was red
I wasn’t supposed to, but I read
A page of blood
Where you can easily tell someone is wounded, broken.
A flood of heartfelt words
shattered pieces on the floor
If not me, who’s gonna pick them up and put them together?
I couldn’t look at it any longer
Read the rest of the poem Show less
Followed by a page of tears
But you can tell there’s a missing page between the two
I was part of the page of tears too
Love expressed for a man yet to come
Untold stories bottled in her heart
Suicidal thoughts battled and conquered
I had caused my sister harm
I had to change
Because it’s tough love, and you can’t always tell
Overprotective
Just look into the mirror, girl, and shine bright.
But I still wonder.... What’s in the missing page
Of my sister’s diary?
Till then
Let not my love be the reason for another ,Missing page
