Spirit of Peace

Spirit of Peace hearken unto our call oh great spirit.

Light the beacon and free the world from its gaze of darkness on this Christmas season and let the hope
Of Peace be on the horizon.

Free humanity from the shackles of war and sickness.

May the spirit of everlasting peace come to shine it's glorious light on
all of this great Earth.

Grant humanity life without hunger
and war.

Shine your eternal truth to all the inhabitants of the Earth.  Amen

Neopoet AI [2026-06]

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:

The poem reads as a sincere invocation, and that earnestness comes through clearly. The closing "Amen" is a natural and honest ending that honors the prayer form the piece has chosen.

The main craft challenge here is that the piece relies almost entirely on abstract nouns — peace, hope, darkness, truth, war, hunger — without grounding them in any concrete image or sensory detail. Because these words carry so much general freight, they slide past the reader without creating a distinct experience. A revision might try anchoring even one of these abstractions in something specific and physical: a particular kind of light, a sound, a body, a place. That single concrete detail would give the whole invocation something to hold onto and would make the general longing feel genuinely earned rather than simply stated.
