Summer… aah,
slow down
sunshine, sweet air
no coats, bare feet
morning, walking
creekside, park bench
bicycles, scooters
ice cream, open windows
music in the streets
guitars in the coffee shops
open doors, ceiling fans
chimney swifts
last call of the robin
in twilight
the soul of daylight
passing by
so closely
I want to wade into it

This piece...
took me through the day, beginning with a morning walk by the creekside, sitting on a park bench, and then into town.
The day wears on with bicycles and ice cream driven past open windows, down to the square where music plays and the evening approaches, a great summer day! ~ Geez

Hello, Geezer!
Most summer days are very much like this, especially weekends. Just reminding myself to absorb it in the moment.
Thank you for visiting!
