Hello Miss Homelessly
Hello Miss Homelessly
I saw you walk across the streets
of paradise
you appeared so wonderful
so beautiful
but distraught were your eyes
where were you heading to
none could say
and
then twas perhaps I crossed your way.
You were just loitering about
the streets of paradise
perhaps you had no place to hide .
I came to your rescue
and
as you upon my shoulder
you lay,
you let me play
but it was just fun all the way .
I asked you where did you stay
you smiled and then wanted to walk away.
I held your hand and brought you home
a home where you could stay
but I couldn't let you anyway
for I too was as homeless
as you were
you walked with a guy
and went away
I looked stunned at that passage all day
hoping to see you return
but then I too passed away.....
