Suggestion for contests

Hi!

I just decided  to check out the contests a few minutes ago. I know, I'm kinda late for this month. I think it would be good to have a place where all entries of the current, and past contests are based. This does not mean they would not also appear in the stream, like spotlight and evolution, the poem would be in two places at once. This would make it easier for those who are unsure if they are on the right track to ensure that they are. Also, if saved, these "previous contest" areas would be great learning tools. For example, in general I just don't get japanese forms, which are the forms used for this month's contest. I have read a few definitions and seen posts by members trying to explain, and I understand a bit better, but I still don't get the feel of it. So if I was able to look at a series of them, along with comments from critics who would comment on whether the form was respected or not, I think that would be very helpful to me and possibly any poet who's learning about a new form (new to him or her). The site could end up having a batch of sonnets, one of acrostics, one of haikus... so if someone, a year from now, wants to improve their knowledge of these forms, they could go back and find good examples grouped together.

I wanted to share this idea with you all, see what you think. If something similar already exists, someone please point me in the right direction! (And thank you for your patience.)

Thank you, and good luck to all contestants!
