Silhouette

Silhouette in the far distance at nite
one can clearly see
a man walking across the skyline
of a distant mountain
and
yet we are blind
to the broad daylight
that the eyes convey
and we remain unmindful
and go astray.
some years gone by
I clearly remember
a friend trying to learn
the English language say
he word laughingly
as
sill lou haatteee
that's what he thought
twas the correct pronunciation
of what you call
silhouette
normally
