I've Done Everything

   I've done everything I can
     ( except 2 or 3 things)
       I'm at my wit's end
     at the end of my string

      I've tried and I've tried
       (except  3 or 4 times)
         I've done my best
     (except  5 or 6 rhymes)

     I've done all I can think of
     ( except 7 things or more)
          what else can I do?
           why can't I score?

             Oh!  what to do!
             Oh!  what to do!
             I'm  ASKING you
             what shall I do?


          but I'll probably ignore 
                your answer!
