No Room for Hate ...
'No room for hate' by David Gould
Wrote in response to our daughter being killed in the London Bombings of 7 July 2005 There is no room within my heartfor revenge, fire or hatethere is no room within my mindfor any thoughts like these. I cannot find the words to sayjust how it is I feelbut I know from deepest hurtI must forgiveness find. The hurt that’s been done to uscuts sore like a knife,but we must not, repay in kindwhat has been done to us. Instead we must try and findthe way that is so hard,and reach out our loving handsto find some friendship now. There can be no more healing thingthan opening wide our eyesand seeing that most other folkare really just like us.
