Stone Thrower

Stone Thrower

The day dawned hot and blister red

Hooker Mary was asleep in bed

Righteous Kate had beat the sun

Hit the floor with purpose; on the run

Righteous Kate knew she was always right

She never wavered from a fight

Right was right and wrong was wrong

The whore would learn her lesson ‘fore long

Hooker Mary was very striking

Much to Righteous Kate’s disliking

Despite Kate’s own wealth and power

She was rather plain and always dour

Much younger than the Righteous Kate;

Karma handed Mary a wretched fate

Kate’s spouse was seen with Mary

Gossips too much for Kate to carry

Of course the fault was not her mates

Blame lay at that whore’s own filthy gates

Kate’s spouse was a moral man

Led astray by the little tramps plan

Kate had no concept of Mary’s past

Thought Mary’s sins were unsurpassed

It was just; NO! Her righteous mission;

Expose Mary’s sinful position

Mary knew of violence and rape

From the young age of eight, no escape

She knew not plain compassion

Mostly rage and hate filled passion

She found herself, now age fifteen,

Out on the street, unwanted; unseen

The alleys became her home

Her place to sleep; her place to roam

Hard pressed, she managed to survive

The men, seemed glad she was alive

They all returned to use the whore

She was young, pretty and knew the score…

This day of blazing provocation

A child was damned with accusation

Mary was disgraced and disavowed

By Kate and her supporting crowd

Sundown brought a fiercely wicked storm

Frightening in its strength; far from the norm

Morn found Mary lifeless on the ground

The pavements tinge of red was quite profound

Righteous Kate knew she was always right

She never wavered from a fight

Right was right and wrong was wrong

Righteous Kate’s own shame will be lifelong
