Everyone's vote counts...thoughts

Hello to all Neopoets

It is time again for the election. Please all of us need to get involved with this not only the same 40 people who voted last time. If you want your voices to be heard then everyone should take time to vote here. This is not a game. All the members that do volunteer their time have jobs also to do everyday and we all should give them thanks for all they do..  

Just some thoughts of mine and please do not throw me to the cleaners as this is intended for all members. This blog is not a bashing party and if you feel the need to bash then go right ahead.   Just know this blog is not intended for any one person here but to ALL of us, me included..  I am thinking only for the goodness of this site I have come to learn and enjoy with each and every friendship and poem I have found. While I have not been the easiest person to deal with here I have also learned that being honest and thinking of others is what I am about.  Positivity is needed here more now then ever. I try to display that the best that I can and only do so from my heart and my mind. I DO NOT PLAY GAMES and I am for real.  Here are just some thoughts I came up with and wanted to pass them along to you. Please do not take this as a personal attempt to discredit anyone in here. If you do you will only meet up with silence as I am not about to argue your negative opinions good or bad about this subject and my blog. I have no more time to do that. It is disruptive and silly.  This is my blog, this is me sharing with you all. Some may agree, some may not but it is not  a blog to go back and forth to argue about.. If you can't carry on an adult conversation without getting overly aggressive and attacking you may not want to leave a message. Trust me I will not respond to you if you act this way. This is not open for arguments sake as I tire of reading like many of late with  the constant back and forth fighting.. Keep that in mind as respect what I am saying. I thank you for that. I know I am up against resistance and I do welcome comments,  I am just not in the mood to argue some silliness with anyone.  Here are my thinkings... 

Think of one who would be a good leader.

Think of one who would be a good listener.

Think of one who would be fair

Think of one who would help and be positive

Think of one that will represent the site the best they can without personal opinions getting in the way

Think of one that will show positivity in their actions with all members here.

Think of one that will be forthcoming when it comes to acting accordingly

Think of one that will help you grow as a writer and encourage new members

Think of one that will not take their personal feelings and apply them and direct them to you

Think of the one that would be a great leader and direct us into the future of Neopoet

Just some thoughts as I am applying this to the members that do not vote and the ones that do. If you want to see change and change for the better then the only way to do this is to be honest and upright truthful in your selections. This blog is not intended to infuriate anyone as all members who work behind the scenes also deserve another term. Try not to vote for popularity as that is not what makes the workshop a whole.  Sometimes it may even work against the reason it is selected to begin with.

We are all members here and we do have a say one way or another. I encourage each and every one of you to think about what you want from this site and what you do not want and work together to make it as best as it could be.  

Again let me reiterate my statements here,  for sure someone will take this the wrong way as I can not help that but it is not my intent so think as you like. The people who know me know of me also.    I would like to see more poets getting more involved with this site to make it the best and not to keep on arguing and whining on a daily basis as has been of late.... If you are here to write your poetry, stories, etc then why not pitch in and help the site out and not work against them. It is time for poets to step up to the plate and deliver.  We all love this site and we all should help in a positive way towards achieving this goal of greatness in a workshop. No one asked me to write this and I know for sure someone sooner or later will take this out against me but trust me what I am saying. This is for the betterment of the site not for any of my personal gain.  If a person does not agree that working together in a workshop is needed then I have nothing else to say here.
