Feeding the Mind

I've been lots of things in my life
a mother, wife, daughter,
stupid

yes I said stupid ...

but I am not so stupid?
that i can't see the game
as it plays
in the shadows

stupidity can be overcome
as with ignorance 
though ignorance breeds
contempt

I'm just a intelligent idiot
that is trying to
keep the dream alive,

while playing shadow puppet's
with fools
