The woman within

He can beat her senseless
and leave her bloody on the floor
yet the woman within her rises

He can smash her dignity
and stamp on her sanity
yet the woman within her rises

He lays her low with
both word and deed
yet the woman within her rises

No man has or ever will
separate her from her core
the woman within her rises
