Journey Back to the White House

the cold north winds wrapping a chill around shoulders standing in the valley mountains above a horse is running along the greyhound a falling deer on the side of the road pickup trucks muddy wheels barbed wire fences country cows barn yard whores waiting for a new trucker smell fresh pecolated coffee I prepare to revisit the river staying alone in the white house bought a used CF Martin guitar starting to stretch strings pull guns & roses "Patience" to play I wake wonderful I am safe no monsters beside me no noise just water trickling off the tin roof finally home © 2010 Lepadah
