SUCH SIGHS SUCH MEMORIES
SUCH SIGHS SUCH MEMORIES
Oh sweet melancholy,
mesmerising my mind,
making meaning of my time,
my life, its harmony,
those dulcet notes I hear within
my inner ear, are those
awakened by lost sight,
my hands upon my face,
I'm graced with images, with thoughts,
that pull my consciousness to think of you,
such sighs, such sensations of sensuousness,
such lust mixed into the knowledge of your mien,
awake my eyes to see deep into yours again,
divining there your 'soul'
which revealed to me your hidden woe,
your tears now spent.
As age tears off the guise of youth,
the wrinkled frame around
now fraught with crinkled skin,
so tender, delicate,
as evening drops her gown,
and leaves you standing naked,
before the mirror of your friend and love,
she frowns in sympathy,
in ecstasy of recognition of your remembered grace,
your handsome face,
your stallion that sprung so high,
gave solace to your thigh,
and full of happiness ejaculated stars
so beautiful, exquisite,
squeezed from heaven's juices,
so sublime, so delicious.
Ah but that was then,
when we first encountered, all was new,
was bathed in dew of bodies essences in flow
which like the melting of the snow,
made waterfalls in every crevice of my form,
panting, gasping, flailing, dying
in your manly strong embrace,
wilting and becoming whole again,
the whole that sages call divine,
when our beings are not two, nor one, nor anyone,
not of this world,
in paradise, a state like heaven if there's such a place,
ah yes, it was there we were,
And now
in retrospect, remembered,
ah what day-dreams catch my perceptions,
the deception of the brain,
and yet, I almost felt as if
I were living them again.
