The Night to Never Forget
The drums will beat out their rhythm
Our hearts race in pace
We shall remember this night with 'em.
Everything goes by in a blur,
But to us, it doesn't occur
That this is our last night together.
So we ran our course.
It was rather short, no doubt.
But neither of us felt any remorse.
Then I asked for one last kiss.
But you turned away your bliss,
I ran after you, asking for your hand.
You looked back, then left, so I could barely stand.
Our hearts race in pace
We shall remember this night with 'em.
Everything goes by in a blur,
But to us, it doesn't occur
That this is our last night together.
So we ran our course.
It was rather short, no doubt.
But neither of us felt any remorse.
Then I asked for one last kiss.
But you turned away your bliss,
I ran after you, asking for your hand.
You looked back, then left, so I could barely stand.
