Adore Her

Vedanta imparts universal knowledge,
Saugata enables sensual gig,
Meemamsa whets absolute pleasure,
So speaks the Indian sages of yore.
Devi, the goddess adorn the sheen sanctum,
Her eyes glitter, her burley stature strong,
She has created the Universe, she can destroy,
She blesses the pious, annihilates the wicked,
Mother Earth she is, she is embodied fertility,
Eternal she is, protector of all beings.

All that is feminine evokes sensate creation,
Of ideas, thoughts, literature, and wisdom.
    Signifies motherhood, breastmilk, nectar.

Symbolises love, lifts us to empathy, care,
Devi is the dame of the Universe, incarnate beauty.
Ego persists in us like a worm in a fruit,
We are prone to sorrow when Ego breaks,

Devi loves selfless children devote,
Wakes from hibernation, lead hyalane
Slippery.  She saves from fall, always smiling, motley,

Hear the portmento, the 'manthra' of Shanti.  Devi is great!
Devi is potent and a storehouse of vibrant poesy.

She is praxis of all that is worth.
Only dunderheads avoid her, pray, pray
Play the dulcimer, play the drum,...dulcet...nice...

"Where women are worshipped, there is heaven"
Woman is the haven, love her, adore her!
