This is my response to the continuing and deepening crisis in Ireland, regarding the alledged (and proven) scandals of child abuse by catholic clergy in Ireland. It resonates, as I went (for a short time) to a catholic convent and experienced some vile treatment at the hands of Nuns. This is for those children who didn't have a voice when it mattered...
SCREAMING CATHOLICS
'Catholic Church- In-Crisis'
screams banners
across the
Emerald Isle
Tarnishing taint
ridden clergy
exposing
more than an
evil
smile
Pope and Cardinals
agree to
keep quiet
for the good of
church and
child
But who's church?
But who's future
now forgotten?
Poor innocent children
and feeble minds
forsaken
Now corrupted completely
damned
and bitterly
broken
