Bloody Hell, I Have to Wait 9 Seconds!

That's right, for I believe the second time ever I got the "one poem per day" warning and when I checked I saw that it had been 23 hours and 52 seconds since I'd submitted my last one.  I'm adding an extra second because 24 is not > 24 but 24:01 is.

And I laughed aloud and immediately opened up a blog entry and have already used up the 9 seconds required to wait.

But it brought to mind once again my question as to how people can believe they write something worthy or public review and critique more than once every 24 hours.  Certainly there are exceptions to this, people who have an innate skill do construct poetry like the rest of us breath, but dear God, that is a sparse talent and if you believe you have it, have your work reviewed by people who are not your friends.

Me, It take me a long time to write most of my poems and I feel they are better for it and I have a distrust of those who are both prolific and unwilling to entertain critique.  I already know I am a better editor than poet but if anyone, from the most revered to the least interested, offers you insight to your work you are a fool if you do not consider it.  You need not adopt it, but someone is offering you the opportunity to make your writing more effective.  And even if it is the most moronic suggestion ever, at least you know they read your work and were inspired to comment above some mindless commentary.

Well, my 9 seconds have long passed so now I will write another religious poem some people will find offensive.  I'm not even sure what it will be at this point but as Easter, yet another Christianity hijacked Pagan celebration, is right around the corner, it'll most probably include something in relation to that theme.

If, because you are a moron, you decide this blog is a personal attack against you, go fuck yourself.

Remember when I said:

"You ain’t a fucking special snowflake and I’ve had it with the coddling of idiots."

In my http://www.neopoet.com/blog/35981-ill-be-running-aec-again blog?

This is part of what I meant.
