Whatever a poet says is not necessarily good or true

There are a far too many people on this site that believe anyting written must be good and true because the poet wrote it and "it comes from the heart."
What a load of old rubbish.
Poetry can be very bad, cliched, sentimental and, worst, pretending that everthing is good, lovely, be happy and lets all love and forgiven eachother. It is very much like saying it is good because they excreted it. Those people end up in bell towers with sniper guns when theirt delusion cracks. They do it verbally on Neopoet.
A lack of criticism, whether "very nice dear" or "from the heart" is meaningless nonsense.
Poetry is a leaned craft with inate talent. It matters not if you have no education or reading, you can learn. Some people just write rhyming couplet nonsense that amounts to no more than "be happy", These people write endless attacking verbose, inanity and insanity and lies against the the genuine critics.
If poetry has any relevance in this world it is -

Work at your work, listen, read, try to improve. Some great examples are Seren and Xena.
