Members' Challenge # 2 "Jovian Title Sandwich"
Forums
I know, the January challenge is up, and I have done up a few entries myself . So get yours in .
But in the mean time I have a little side challenge for those of you that have a lot of spare time on their pens;or just don't want to get their hands "Dirt"y. lol (joke challenge is about dirt !)
Here goes:A "Jovian Title Sandwich " - is done by first choosing a title, the most important part. As the title will be used in every verse; min two verses.
Then choose a rhyming pattern and stick to it aabb abab abba mine =abTab T=Title
Then choose a syllable count, must match line to line but not with title.
Of course the title must make sense in the verses. One can't just write a verse a stuff the title in, if it does not add to the verse and make sense it would make it kinda hard to follow . you follow ?
Good luck, any questions feel free to ask !

From The Back of His Mind
- It's dark now, never clearer .
- At dusk the eye opens wide.
- From the back of his mind,
- there appears a small mirror,
- reflecting battles inside.
- Staring inwardly, gaping .
- In pain he silently screams.
- From the back of his mind,
- there will be no escaping,
- reflecting into his dreams.
- Is he awake, or sleeping?
- Could pain subside with a knife?
- From the back of his mind,
- it so slowly comes creeping,
- reflecting into his life.
- It's dark now , never clearer.
- At dusk his throat opens wide.
- From the back of his mind,
- there appears a smashed mirror,
- dissecting souls as he died.
