Illusion's creativity

 ILLUSION'S CREATIVITY

I am not enamoured of illusions

and yet it is sometimes those that turn

the mundane reality into phantasmagorical beauty

and scintillating coloured vision.

So as a tool,

illusions have their creative beauty,

their fire of ignition

that sets the mind

in the swing of the dance of life,

its character,

its profound expressions,

enhanced by the illusion of pride,

grandeur, omnipotent greatness,

grace and power;

a conglomerate of dazzling,

dashing thoughts

epitomised into one expression,

the duende of life's elixir,

without that mythical elixir,

we would be drab copies

of our less bright sides,

the old overalls of dead-leaf wisdom,

live, die and rot,

all would be grey and miserable,

colourless and sad.
