Hello Neopoets
Just a thought or two after a couple of months here on Neopoet. Here is my evaluation thus far. Not all people will like you. Not all people will talk nice of you. Not all people see you as you may see yourself or how your boss sees you or your loved ones see you. Not all people will like what you have to say. Not all will like your writings. It is those that can pick up their feet and continue their dreams, their journeys, their aspirations, their motivations, for this you must continue on. We are all learning and for this we take our breaks from it shall we need to. I am one of the more inspirational nature and that will never change as only I am me. Sometimes I see I have to defend my own stance of this statement but then I only write truth. I can be no other way.
As we are all individuals who come in here for some reason or other I would like to say as far as me being a critic of any ones work from this day forward I am using the word FEEDBACK instead. It may be constructive feedback as it rings a little gentler tone to it for me at leasts.. That is how I will address it from now on as feedback and not critique. If anyone would like me to take a look at their poem as I have been asked and I make a suggestion or two it is as I see it or feel it. And I would not be appalled if you did not take the advice, for your words and your writes are yours alone. We must all be open minded and open minded of others work for sure here. I will be more then happy to comment also as I have. I am a stickler for spelling and proofreading as I do that everyday for many highly distinguised people in our community.. I even know I may overlook my own punctuation and spelling at sometimes. That is just my laziness in correcting it at the time. When I hand a paper into my professor I can guarantee it will be absolved of any errors, and that is why I get that good grade.
So if you like me to look at your poem in private or on here then feel free to do so. I am not a mentor or a employee here but I do offer and will share anything I am able to with any of you. I am however not a professed critic. I leave that up to the professionals. I am here to learn and share and learn some more as I have learned so much these past couple of months. I will continue my journey upward, never backwards since I do not walk that way.
