Prayers for Haiti

In all my life I have never seen such destruction and sadness as I see these days of the pictures from Haiti.  We have a sister church over there from our congregation and we have had a close tie to a certain pastor there in which we all have contributed and have a close connection with. We have helped them build their little church in their once torn village..and now this to happen to them..  I know this might not be affecting  to some people but it means alot to me.

I sit here...I do not know of any of these poor human beings, but my heart breaks for them..the children who can not find their mother or father, the parents that can not find their children, the list goes on.  The very souls at this moment that are hanging on to life as others try to melt away and carry away the boulders of concrete upon them. Working tirelessly to find that small or big miracle underneath all the devastation.  It makes me stop to be thankful, it makes me stop to be prayerful, it makes me stop to shed a tear and  say a prayer to all those who suffer today. ...If I could reach out and hold a baby right now that is lost without a parent I would love that child and raise him or her to be my own..my heart goes out to all of them..the nature of nature, earthquakes, hurricanes, fires, mudslides, blizzards, tornadoes, all of these happenings,... universe... never knowing when it could be outside our open doors also...

Our avalanche has not reached us so therefore we reach out to others at this time.

In Jesus name I do pray

Love, Mona

Just wondering what happened to Haiti as you do not see much of this news no longer on the TV. To think of them and still care, that is of me.
