Workshop 1 - 2009/12/28 - 2010/01/09

Neopoet.com held it's first focused workshop session from December 28, 2009 - January 9, 2010.  This workshop was a pilot to aid in determining the viability of the concept and to smooth out operational concerns.  Each participant was required to submit a single poem in a specified format for detailed review and critique.  Each reviewer was required to score the poem in several areas and then justify their scoring choices.

Each participant was required to review and respond to the critiquer's points in a professional and mature manner.

An evaluation was conducted by the participants after the close of the workshop to refine the concept and provide reference and ideas for the additional workshops that will be held in the future.  This workshop was deemed successful by the participants in that it provided a vehicle for a concentrated review of a limited selection within a defined time frame.

Below are the specifications and participants for the workshop for general review.
