Rain

Sweeping rain falling gently
In still darkest night
Lonely heart has awoken
To warm tempting sight

Stole sweet tender kiss
Under honesties great tree
My tears like the rain drops
Giving union to thee

You touch like a Cherub
And speak no goodbye
I kiss you quite softly
Lips captured your sigh

For you I now touch
And gently caress
To fondle your mind
I seek nothing less

An explosion of rain
And sweetest desire
Loves river in flood
To pour on Mans fire

Once casted adrift
On an ocean of time
For your tears I did seek
And your heart I did find
